  1. Now that looks like the sky we had here on Monday but without the shining rainbow. I still get excited every time I see a rainbow – something quite magical about them even though there’s a scientific explanation.

    • This was on Sunday afternoon. The black rain-filled clouds bypassed us to the north fortunately, but made for some interesting effects with a clear blue sky everywhere else so that the sun shone onto the leaden skies opposite.
I think there is a hint of magic to rainbows too, despite knowing the science behind them.

  2. Yes, definite sense of magic – I had the photo opportunity of a double rainbow today, but unfortunately it would have involved stopping the car on the hard shoulder of the M6 and running across both carriageways!! Well done for catching YOUR rainbows!

  3. Looks like our sky as well, we have had the most strange weather as of late, lots of situations where it’s raining in one half of the garden but dry in the other! The boys find it fascinating and are loving all the rainbows. Just need to get ready for this weekends chilly change now. Bethx

    • There has been some very changeable weather indeed. Not looking forward to plummeting temperatures (and must get the lemon verbena out of the ground and into the greenhouse).
