Wordless Wednesday: Happy Halloween

Mostly wordless, anyway. We don’t really do ghosties and ghoulies, but I really wanted to try carving a pumpkin. And make something for the kids from the village who are bound to come calling later…

  2. I’m not much into all the commercialism that surrounds Halloween theese days, but if you HAVE to carve a pumpkin, I reckon your Dalek one is better than most! πŸ™‚ I’d like it better if people would EAT the pumpkin rather than just using it as a lantern.

    • Thanks. Indeed, Halloween is vastly over-hyped and we usually barely acknowledge it, but I had the definite urge to try carving a pumpkin, and couldn’t think of anything better to grace it than a dalek! πŸ™‚ I did roast the seeds so it wasn’t entirely wasted. We’ll enjoy every morsel of our own squash harvest too, rather than defacing them in this way!
